Vernon Huff is currently a Teaching Associate at Arizona State University where he conducts the ASU Men's Chorus and is working towards a Doctoral of Musical Arts in choral conducting degree. For eight years he was associate director and then director of choirs at Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, SC. Mr. Huff also served as lead choral director for the Charleston County School District. He also taught high school and elementary school music in Orange, California and Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Huff is a nationally board certified teacher in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood Choral music. He earned his Masters of Music degree in choral conducting from The Ohio State University and received the Outstanding Graduate Student - Performance Division Award. He earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University in choral music education. While at Furman he was student conductor of the University Chorus.  He has a five year old son, Ethan ,who lives in Flagstaff but is around quite a bit.
